Well well well, welcome to tornado ally. We were enjoying a very nice supper outside, steak, corn, potatoes and wine, while watching a very cool lightening storm to the south. I started recording some video because the clouds had very strong features. Then the wind changed directions and within 30-60 seconds we were pounded. We got most everything into the house but our meal was ruined and we lost one wine glass. I fired up the video camera again afterwards but the battery was dead. I did get some footage on our regular camera, but of course then that went dead.
They've reported wind gusts around 70-75 mph!! One of our patio heaters took a beating as well. The tall one was bent, right were the shaft meets the deck. We're all in the basement now and I think the worst is over. Wow, that was absolutely crazy. We didn't even have time to run from our south deck to our sliding glass door before the winds were around 40-50 mph gusts. Got the old heart beating!
Time for a movie, maybe a comedy. :|

We had some hail here for about 5 minutes. Sounds like Parkersburg was wiped off the map....6 or 7 people died!! If I never see a tornado in my lifetime, I'll be fine with that. Counting our blessings that this round of storms missed us. Great pic...glad you all made it to the basement in time!
